Walk Description:

A longer walk in a beautiful place!  What a tonic...

Stunning scenery, historical connections, gorgeous architecture, well manicured gardens, a sense of timelessness… and wide shady paths all across the estate to enjoy mood-boosting  Nordic Walking.  Plus a well deserved coffee at the end in the Muddy Boots Cafe - what could be better?

This is a 4.5 - 5 mile moderate walk (average steady pace 3.4mph) suitable for all Gear 2-3 abilities as there are opportunities for those who want a challenge to get up to Gear 3  and add in extra distance if they choose!  It is a 75 - 90 minute walk on footpaths through fields and woodland through Blickling Hall Estate... ANY BEYOND!! 

£9.50 BUT INCLUDED IN UNLIMITED WALKS P/W + UNLIMITED ZOOMS £28 PER MONTH PACKAGE

Important Information

Distance: approx 4.5 - 5 miles

Terrain: meadows, broadside paths, some uneven ground, hills, woodland, undulating

Toilets: Yes

Car parking: Free to NT members / £5 per day to non NT

Cafe / Coffee van: Yes - Muddy Boots Cafe

Clothing:  Please dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget water, waterproofs (if necessary), suncream, bug spray AND ASTHMA INHALER

We will set off promptly. 

Please try to arrive 10mins early so you are ready to go.

Location Notes:

We will meet in the National Trust Car Park of Blickling Hall. This can get busy at weekends and holiday times. WE WILL MEET ON THE SMALL PATCH OF GRASS IN FRONT OF THE OLD SCHOOL - AT THE FAR END OF THE CAR PARK NR THE OVERFLOW CAR PARK. Free to National Trust members but £5 for the day for non-members. Toilets and Muddy Boots Cafe on car park site. Summer open from 9am and in the winter from 10am.
