Walk Description:

One of our ‘last Sunday in the month’ longer walks programme, this route of variety and views starts out from Birstwith, follows the river Nidd and then the Nidderdale Way up to Swarcliffe. The route then crosses the river, heads up to Hardcastle Garth, joins the path along the disused railway line, and back to Birstwith. At 6 miles, the walk takes around two and a half to two and three quarter hours.

Location Notes:

Meet in the free car park at the end of Wreaks Road, Birstwith. Nearest postcode for sat nav, HG3 2NF
