Walk Description:

Join Paul for this mid-paced 7.3 mile walk. It combines a mixture of several stretches of road walking, dense Woodland and open plains and starts from the village of Watton-at -Stone. This route takes in the villages of Benington Lordship and Burns Green before returning to Watton-at-Stone. Benington Lordship and its environs are well known for its snowdrops and daffodils, along with the village Hot Chilli festival in late August each year.

This walk is suited to those who are looking to improve their fitness and can walk at a minimum pace of 3 mph. Walkers without poles are welcome to join this walk.

Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.
