Saturday Explorer Full Day
Starting in Grindleford, close to Grindleford Station Café, which is legendary for its huge portions of honest food and pints of tea (you can call in after the walk).
The walk heads through Hay Wood, and across the countryside to Fox House where the trail winds into Burbage Moor. Here you can enjoy lovely views from the Burbage edges on the way to Higger Tor and Carl Walk.
The trail then descends across the moorlands, beside Burbage Brook, and through the woodland via Longshaw estate or via Padley Gorge depending on conditions on the day and back to the start.
