Walk Description:
Friday Cafe Nordic Walx - this is up to 2 hours and 5 miles often followed by a coffee at a local cafe or bring your own flask for an after walk coffee and chat.
Todays walk: starting at Marlborough and walking up towards Manton and towards the Devils Den and back via the downs to the start.
Pace & Intensity: Fairly moderate paced walk suitable for most abilities.
Gradient: Fairly moderate at start but a climb up towards edges of the forest and then back down the road towards the start.
Miles: This walk is around 5 miles.
Notes: We can end at a Marlborough cafe.
Location Notes:
Parking in the Waitrose car park is free after 6pm and on Sundays. Otherwise it is a pay and display car park. There are other free places around town so feel free to park somewhere else and meet us in the car park to save the parking fees. Meet in area outside the police station which is in the George Lane end of the Waitrose car park.
