Walk Description:
We walk through the vineyard near the start of the walk then set out into the countryside, there is one quite steep descent with steps and a rope banister. The route takes us on the Wareham Forrest and Hardy's way which cross fields and run along a few lanes. For those who would like, do bring paws for the lanes. There are I think five stiles and nearly always some mud. The route takes us across to the village of East Morden and then back through the fields to a small path through woodland. We cross a lane and continue down a dell and cross, an often rather wet patch, and then there is a small hill back to the road. There are a number of places where we can shorten the walk if anyone feels anxious of the distance. Please let me know so that we can accommodate you if possible. There is one slightly steep hill, but otherwise the climbs are gentle. The pub, The Chequers , where we start from has just changed hands and is open for drinks at the moment but is reopening for food on May 2nd , There are however other places not far away >The Rose and Crown also in the village does coffee and there is The Barn on the edge of the village. The Cowshed at Lytchett Minster or St Peter's finger.
