Walk Description:

Thursday 12th December: Festive Ellastone walk and lunch

Meet at 10.45 for a 11am start at Ellastone Parish Hall, Church Lane, Ellastone, DE6 2HB. Starting time might change, depending on activities in the village hall.

Distance: 2 - 2.5 miles, 60 - 90 minutes

The walk: Footpaths, farm tracks and quiet lanes without pavement. Some areas prone to mud and uneven walking.

First part of the walk is going down hill, through fields. The second part is gentle up hill via a farm track, while the last part is down hill again through fields. Stiles: 9 Gradients: Lowest 365ft Highest 605ft Total ascent 285ft  

Please bring water, also waterproofs & layers. And don’t forget to put on your Christmas hat.

Price: Please bring £10 on the day to cover costs for hall hire and food. Any leftover money will go to  Charity

Booking essential: A Valid Registered Nordic Walking UK Freedom Card is required to book this Activity.

Location Notes:

Please bring a cash donation for use of the car park. You can use the church car park, when the car park is full.
