Walk Description:

The walk takes us through beautiful broad leaf woodland crossing the road via a footbridge to enter the

main plantation in Cannon Hill.

The paths are mainly wide and flat for 3/4 of this walk then go uphill to a level plateau high up in the

woods. At the end of this section there is a view point before we decend down a short hill with views

across fields.

There are some tree roots in this area and it can be muddy.

We cross the bridge and return via a different route to the car park.

Winter opening hours of the pub are now from 11am but we can access the carpark for our walk.

There is a gift shop as you enter the pub. Toilets inside.

There is a fire and good coffee awaits.

Location Notes:

Park at the back of the Old Thatch pub.
