Walk Description:

White Nancy and Kerridge Hill - Bollington

Special Event No freedom passport needed to book on.

Join us on this walk with great views over Macclesfield and Cheshire as we make our way round a varied route ranging from canal towpaths, tracks, roads and everything in between.   The hill up to White Nancy is quite steep but there's no hurry to get to the top and there's a steep downhill as we head back down to The Middlewood Way. There will be short breaks along the way to take in the views or a snippet of history about the area.   09:30 8km (5miles)

Led by an experienced Nordic Walking Instructor who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way.

There's no need to worry about navigation, allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company.

Dogs - If you bring a dog it must be on a lead and under control at all times, I use a harness with mine and would be happy to offer advice on buying one, you must also be able to help your dog over stiles etc. where needed.

First Aid - I will always have a kit in my bag, but you can bring your own basic First Aid Kit (Plasters, Bite and Sting Cream, Suncream and if you use paracetamol - or similar as the group one will not contain this.)

The walk includes a short mobilisation of joints prior to walking and a cool down stretch at the end.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 24 hours’ notice. To see the full policy click HERE
