Walk Description:

This is a 4 mile walk across easy terrain of tracks, paths and droves. There is a shorter circuit should anyone choose to opt for this on the day. By increasing the pace this walk could be an Intermediate walk or Gear 2 walk. Equally it would be suitable for Gear 1 walkers as it is flat and the ground condition is good.

Abbotts Ann village shop is located close to the finish point of the walk and offers coffee and maybe a cake or something should you wish to stop here for a pick you up!

Gear 1 - A nice, easy and natural pace that you can do for extended periods with recovery periods where appropriate. Short hills might be introduced.

Gear 2 - A faster pace gained through technique. There will be less recovery time.

Remember to wear appropriate clothes for the weather on the day.

Location Notes:

Parking is in the village street wherever you can find suitable space. We'll meet just outside the pub, The Eagle. 54 Duck Street, Abbotts Ann. The pub is very obvious in the centre of the village.
