Walk Description:

Friday Cafe Nordic Walx - this is up to 2 hours and 5 miles often followed by a coffee at a local cafe or bring your own flask for an after walk coffee and chat.

Todays walk: starting at West Woods car park we take a longer 5 mile route through the paths and out to the far side of the woods. The woods have lots of firm tracks but we may find some muddy bits on some of the smallers tracks.

Pace & Intensity: Fairly moderate paced walk suitable for most abilities.

Gradient: Fairly moderate but there are some climbs mid walk and then as we come back to the car park at the start.

Miles: This walk is around 5 miles.

Notes: Its my birthday so weather dependent - we will run a car boot cafe. I will provide coffee/tea and cakes but happy to have some extra contributions. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MUG - I will have a few spares.

Location Notes:

West Woods is just outside Marlborough. Approximately two miles outside Marlborough take a left turn signed Clatford. Drive up to the crossroads and straight over. About one and a half miles along this road the woods and car park are sign posted on the right.
