Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
On weekends we like to start and end our walk (or drive a short way) at a local cafe. The walks are around 4-5 miles and take around 2 hours.
Poles are optional on an Open WALX - if you would like to try some poles please contact me in advance.
Today's Walk: Honeystreet Villages and canal. An easy route out through Stanton St Bernard and back on the canal.
Pace & Intensity: Fairly moderate paced walk suitable for most abilities.
Gradient: No hills a fairly flat valley walk. Might be overgrown ornamental muddy though.
Distance: 4 miles
Notes: Optiional cafe after walk.
Location Notes:
Please park in the overflow carpark which is on right before the cafe turn off when coming from Alton Barnes. If you are joining us after the walk then feel free to park in the main cafe car park.
