Walk Description:

Come and join WALX Dorset group for a wander around the majestic pines of Wareham Forest.

A sociable pace to cater for a friendly walk - you can pace ahead if you want or you can cut the corners. A walk for those that need to get out for some fresh air, fitness and chat.

Trails can be muddy in places with a mixture of terrain, rooty and sandy, gentle climbs to get to the amazing viewpoints in the forest.

Connect with nature and like-minded walkers - bring poles and dogs if they are wellbehaved.

No facilities at the car park.

Please wear suitable clothing for the weather of the day and bring water.

Location Notes:

Meet in the Lawsons Clump Car Park in Wareham Forest. Lawson Clump is a small quiet car park on the B3075 Wareham to Blandford road to the south of the A35 Poole to Dorchester road. Coming from the A35 it is on your left and signed posted just before.
