Walk Description:
Join Lucie for this weeks Purbeck Adventure where we walk from Corfe Castle to Creech Barrow and back.
We will start by taking the gentle incline up to the ridge and then walk along the ridge enjoying all those fabulous views where once we reach Stonehill Down Nature Reserve we will cut up to Creech Barrow and enjoy the view from one of the highest points in Purbeck.
After a short stop we then take the road back through East Creech to join the lower path and through the ancient woodlands back to Corfe. This invigorating walk takes in some of the most famous views of Purbeck and although a classic walk its never disappoints.
We will be walking at a sociable pace with the opportunity for stops and also the chance to pace if you would like to.
Bring water and a snack for refreshments along the way. Expect mud, especially through the woodland, some steps and one or two stiles.
Location Notes:
Meet at the National Trust Car Park (pay and display, free to members) This car park can be found on the main road into Corfe - form Wareham direction it is on the left before you enter the main Village.
