Walk Description:

Join us for a lovely 8 mile walk from the stunning location of Ringstead National Trust Car Park. This walk takes in far reaching views towards Durdle Door to the east and Weymouth and Portland to the West as well as stunning inland countryside.

We start off take the ridgeway path east towards Lulworth befre we take the inland permissive patht he the pretty village of East Chaldon with its picturesq church. From there we head back west to Holworth Village that has the site of an Medieval Village bofre heading south again towards the coast back to the car park.

There maybe stiles on this walk, and some steady climbs. The walk has a mixutre of terrain, country roads, ploughed fields, grassy or muddy paths and chalkways.  There will be an opportunity for stops where required and we will take a break around the half way for a snack.

Please bring water, wear good sturdy and water proof shoes and clothing. No facilities at the car park.

Please arrive in plenty of time and be ready for the warm-up at 10am.

Location Notes:

Park in the National Trust car park at Ringstead - on the top of the cliff NOT in the village by the beach. When you reach the right turn signposted to Ringstead (beach/village) go straight on. This will lead you directly into the car park, over a cattle grid.
