Walk Description:

Marple Bridge and Etherow Country Park SHORT ROUTE

Special Event No freedom passport needed to book on.

10:45am

If you don't fancy the full 10km route from Marple Bridge you are most welcome to join us for the exploration of one of Britains first Country Parks which was established in 1968. We'll explore part of Ernocroft Wood which used to be open cast coal mines, and Keg pool which was part of a hunting estate.

Distance 6km with ups and downs totalling approx 200m height gain overall.

This walk will start at approx 10:45 so please make sure you arrive early and warm yourself up so you can join us.

There's no need to worry about navigation, allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company.

Led by an experienced Nordic Walking Instructor who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 24 hours’ notice. To see the full policy click HERE
