Walk Description:

Get ready for a walk with spectacular views and a dose of fresh country air! This beautiful route takes you through rolling hills, with panoramic vistas stretching for miles. On a clear day, you’ll be treated to a stunning view of Arundel Castle in the distance – a real treat for history lovers and nature enthusiasts alike!

Our walk takes you through the charming village of Burpham, where you’ll see well-kept country gardens and the idyllic countryside at its best. While there’s a bit of climbing, don’t worry – it’s all part of the adventure! After reaching the top, it’s a rewarding downhill stretch back to where we started.

Key Highlights:

Breathtaking Views: Panoramic scenery, including the distant Arundel Castle. Picturesque Burpham Village: Stroll past beautiful gardens and peaceful country lanes. A Little Challenge: Some gentle climbing for those who want to push themselves – but remember, you’ll get to come back down!

 

PACE Explained:

 

PACE 1  Approximately 3 to 3.5 miles per hour. A comfortable pace for anyone who wants to walk and talk. There is time to stop and take photos etc.

 

PACE 2 Approximately 3.5 to 4.5 miles per hour. This is a steady pace which might make your breathing a little heavier, especially on the hills.

 

PACE 3 Approximately 4.5 to 5 miles per hour. This is for the more experienced walker who knows they can push the pace. There will be times where they will be breathless but there is also recovery (usually on the flat or downhill).

 

Please be assured that we have a NO DROP POLICY (no none gets left behind) and the walk leaders will always ensure we use different methods to cater for different needs within the group.

 

GETTING THE BEST VALUE

 

You can do an unlimited number of walks and exercise sessions, including online classes for as little as £25 per month. This is works out at  £3.12 per session if you average attending twice a week.

 

6 WEEK PROGRAMME

 

If you would like to take advantage of the full membership package without the commitment of direct debit, you can sign up for the 6 week programme. You will get a 1-2-1 consultation, unlimited sessions (outdoor workouts and virtual), retail discounts and a free walk with all listed WALX clubs in the country once a month. All this for £29.00
