Walk Description:
Join Nicola for a lovely Bank Holiday sociable 4/5 mile walk from Worth Matravers taking you down to Winspit and then follow the South West Coastal Path to St Alhelms, a visit to the Chapel there and then back along to Worth ending up at Square and Compass for a pint and a pastie (optional)
This is a classic Jurassic Coast walk and very popular not just because of the pub stop at the end but also the views across the Purbeck are stunning. It has a mixture of terrain with some steep inclines up to the Chapel.
Some steps on this walk from Winspit, path can be quite muddy so poles are suggested.
Bring water and wear suitable clothing and boots for the weather and the terrain.
Parking charges apply - please bring a cash.
Location Notes:
Meet in the car park which is 2 minutes walk from the Square and Compass pub. Honesty box parking fee.
