Walk Description:

Join me and Annabel Deans (from Be Well with Annabel) for a walk and breath training session.  We will take a deep dive into our breathing technique using science backed principles.  Whilst out in nature, we will carry out some simple diagnostic tests so you can assess how efficiently you breathe.  Armed with this knowledge, we will also practice and loearn some simple breathing techniques that you can use in your daily life and during your Nordic Walks.  

 

If you want to learn how to go up those hills without feeling so breathless and ensure tht more oxygent gets to the muscles and tissues, increase energy, lower blood pressure, feel calmer and more focussed, or even if you are a snorer and want to understand how improving your breathing efficiency during the day can help at night, then please do come along and join us.  Harness your oxygen advantage and improve your well-being.

 

This walk is open to all and is without poles.

 

IMPORTANT:  These exercises are NOT suitable if you have a serious heart condition or are pregnant.  This is functional breathwork training and is not a breathwork class - there is no hyperventilation involved.

 

Cost is £20 and I will request payment once you have booked.  The cost includes the walk, training by Annabel and some post-walk drinks and nibbles.

Well-Being walks are gentle paced walks for all.  Most people will be walking with Nordic Walking poles but this is not essential.  You can walk with or without poles and no prior Nordic Walking experience is required.
