Walk Description:

Join Lucie for a walk to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of V E Day. We will walk to Old Harry starting from Middle Beach Car Park so that we can walk past Fort Henry and pay our respects and remember those that participated during WW2. 

This is a stunning coastal walk which takes in some of the locations where they practised for the D Day landings. At Fort Henry there are info boards where we can learn about the history of the area. 

Some steps on the walk, some inclines and walking close to the coastal cliffs. Mainly wide grassy paths with little mud. 

Please bring water. The opportnty for refreshments at the end of the walk at Middle Beach at The Sandy Salt Pig.
