Walk Description:

Early Summer Walk at Hatchlands for the goBuzzers!

Outline plan:   1.  Meet at Pembroke Lodge before 09:00hrs and car share to Hatchlands (GU4 7RT) or take your own car and meet us there.  Depart Pembroke Lodge at 09:00hrs at the latest.   2.  RV at Hatchlands cafe/toilets for 10:15hrs safety brief and walk start (toilets and cafe open at 10:00hrs).  Parking is free but there is an entrance fee for non National Trust members.   3.  Three walks - moderate, medium and gentle.   4.  RV back at Hatchlands House for lunch (optional) at 12:00hrs.   5.  Option to visit Hatchlands House after lunch; entry included in estate entrance fee.   This will replace the normal Thursday morning walk.

This class combines Nordic walking with strength and balance exercises.  As well as improving your cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength the focus on posture, balance and flexibility will alleviate physical stresses on your body.  This is also an effective total body workout if the correct technique is observed.  You`ll feel great after completing this walk around Hatchlands!  You`ll be able to walk and talk but still enjoy the benefits of Nordic Walking.

Location Notes:

The post code will take you to the tradesman entrance. When you get close follow the brown National Trust signs to Hatchlands
