Walk Description:
The walk that takes you under or over more than 10 different bridges, some small some beautiful and some not so obvious - can you count them all?
This has to be one of the loveliest walks in this area and is very popular - with so much variety in nature and countryside and terrain.
We will be going past the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Tarrant Crawford which was built in the 12th Century. There are some beautiful frescos that have survived and we can stop to view them and the rest of the church whist there.
Maricas Farm Cafe is open refreshments at the end of the walk.
You may want to use paws for your poles for part of the walk as there are two small sections on the road. We also have to cross the main road twice.
Location Notes:
The turning into Clapcotts Farm is opposite Spetisbury Primary School. It is at the far end of the village if you are coming from Wimborne on the right hand side on A350. There is a large car park. (CP)
