Walk Description:
Our Explorer WALX this week starts from The Stag's Head in Great Doddington. As we leave the village we are treated to spectacular views down to the Nene Valley. By crossing the meadows we eventually reach Summer Leys Nature Reserve. We will spend some time here where you can either visit the various Bird Hides or enjoy exploring some of the paths before leaving the Reserve and heading UP THE HILL back to Great Doddington.
Approx 3.5 miles but a steep hill at the end!
Coffee available at the Pub afterwards or you may even like to stay for lunch?
It is advisable to wear a bum bag with a water bottle or hydration pack and a snack for afterwards or during.
You are asked to contact your WALX Guide by phone, leaving a voicemail or sending an SMS text to the number listed below, if you are likely to be delayed. Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 2 hours’ notice.
Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us in writing if you have any change to your medical records or physical or mental wellbeing.
This activity is lead by Helen 07919191845
