This walk sets off from the Leisure Centre on Hyde Bank Road in New Mills w epass through The Tors Country Park and the wooded countryside by the River Goyt beforejoining the road to Strines heading along the road to Strines and going up another wooded Bridlepath to the Fox Inn where we start to head along a country road with fine views before dropping back down to the start.

Tips to help get the most out of your walk:
1 Suitable clothing and footwear - layers are best (No jeans)
2 Please use a small backpack to put spare layers in, backpacks with a chest strap and room to move your upper arms forward and backward are best. (No overshoulder bags)
3 Light refreshments (water, fruit juice, etc)
4 Mobile phone is useful for any last minute changes
5 Walk Leaders mobile number
6 Please contact me if you need to hire poles, £1 payable on the day of the walk
Dogs - If you bring a dog it must be on a lead and under control at all times, I use a harness with mine and would be happy to offer advice on buying one, you must also be able to help your dog over stiles etc. where needed.
First Aid - You will need to bring your own basic First Aid Kit (Plasters, Bite and Sting Cream, Suncream etc recommended)
The walk includes a short mobilisation of joints prior to walking and a cool down stretch at the end.
