Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
On Fridays we like to start and end at a local cafe.
Today we have a special walk from Jane' Austen's House in Chawton and then a visit to the local tea rooms. It is the 250th Annivesary of Jane Austen's death this year.
Todays Walk: Jane Austen House - Chawton - 5 miles
Details: Starting and ending at Chawton then after at the local tea shop.
Length: 4.8 miles plus walking around the village.

Notes: You can choose to visit the Jane Austen House Museum after the walk. It is £14 entrance (over 65s are £13.50 and Art Fund members are £7) - we need to pre-book a time and I will do this a few weeks before the walk.
