Walk Description:

Join us for one of the highlights of our walking year,  a beautiful evening stroll at Sywell Country park to mark the longest day of the year 2025.Watch the sun setting over the reservoir and enjoy a glass of something with scones, strawberries and cream. The walk is 3 miles and will take approximately an hour.

Feel free to bring a folding chair or blanket if you wish and it might be a good idea to use some fly repellent.

There is a small charge to cover the cost of the drinks and nibbles.

You are asked to contact your WALX Guide by phone, leaving a voicemail or sending an SMS text to the number listed below, if you are likely to be delayed. Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 2 hours’ notice.   Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us in writing if you have any change to your medical records or physical or mental wellbeing.
