Special Explorer WALX - Baydon & Visit to Artist Studio
Today we have a special event. A walk from Baydon towards the Manor and Aldbourne and back. Then a chance to visit the Marlborough Open Studio No 40 at the Little Bird Studio of local artist Kareen Jackson.
Route: Starting at the Little Bird Studio in Baydon we will enjoy around 4-5 miles of walking around the beautiful North Wessex Downs around Baydon. We will then be inivted in to enjoy some refershements (in the garden) and can enter studio to browse the wares of local artist Kareen Jackson and her exhibition as part of the Marlborough Open Studios.

This walk is a moderate walk and is open to non-polers.
Location: Starting at Kareen's Little Bird Studio - please park either outside the studio (first 3 cars) or turn and park on entrace to the cul-de-sac or along the main road.
Walk & Grade: Out towards Aldbourne and then back another way. The route follows country lanes and field footpaths. It may be overgrown in the summer so please wear long trousers and have sun-screen, water and bug spray for the walk. Always be prepared for poorer weather with a lightweight waterproof.
Location Notes:
Please park along the road as you come into Barley Fields and then walk round the corner to the house.
