WALX Waveney Valley

Walk Description:

This is a delightful scenic walk around Outney Common and is suitable for all abilities.  so whether you are just starting your WALX journey, returning after a break, or a hardened weekly walker, this walk is for you.  Outney Common is an outstandingly beautiful area within the loop of the River Waveney.  The diverse habitats attract all kinds of bird species.  We take a walk through grasslands and woodlands. This walk will include a mixture of various different paces, but at all times you should be able to talk, walk and get some exercise. Ideal for anyone who wants to improve their fitness, but at the same time enjoy the social side of the walk.  We will finish the walk with an optional cuppa in the golf course clubhouse at the end of the walk

Be aware that muddy boots are not allowed in the clubhouse so please bring clean/dry shoes to clean into during wet weather.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 2 hours’ notice.     

Location Notes Parking is free, meet in the 1st car park on the right however if this is full please use the golf club car park (gravel area only).

Free Parking, Toilets available in golf club, (muddy shoes to be removed before entry). If the 1st car park is full we have agreement with the golf club to use the gravelled part of their car park. Please do not use the tarmac part of the golf club car park.
