Walk Description:
The walk accesses a pretty nature reserve located in Cragg Vale, home of the notorious 18th century Cragg Coiners.
This walk goes beyond casual walking, as it gradulally ascends into Cragg Vale, improving cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and flexibility. The whole body is engaged by using purposeful movements, such as strong arm swings, changes in stride length and core engagement. Total body walking is a low impact exercise, that is good for joint stability and balance, and adaptable for all fitness levels.
Location Notes:
Mon - Sun £2.00 for 2 hours, 8am - 8pm. Various payment options available (card, cash, contactless, phone). 2hrs free parking available in St Michael's Square, but limited places, 8am - 6pm.
