Join us for a visit to this very special gem. Chester House Estate is a nationally significant heritage site , demonstrating over 10000 years of human activity. North Northamptonshire Council have developed this site into a sustainable visitor destination where people can learn about the history and heritage of the area . We will start our walk in Wellingborough, walking along the Nene Way before crossing over the river and up into Chester House Estate.
We will have an hour here where you can visit the museum, browse the shops or grab some refreshments from the cafe with beautiful views across the valley.
We will then return to our starting point. Approximately 3.5 miles in total.
