Walk Description:

Join us for a 60 min walk around Carrbrook to blow away those cobwebs! 

Head/chest torch and hi-vis clothing are a must. Your light must be sufficient to light your way. Speak to Jane if you need any advice (she has a few hi-vis vests she can lend out, but you must let her know in advance)

This is an unofficial walk. Book on and we'll let everyone know who has booked so you can meet up and walk. You will be walking at your own risk and will not be covered by our insurance.

Important Information

Distance: approx 3 miles

Terrain: road and pavements

Stiles: none

Toilets: nearest toilets are either Tesco Greenfield (Chew Valley Rd, OL3 7AF) or Tesco Stalybridge (Acres Lane, SK15 2BJ)

Car parking: free

Please dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget water, waterproofs (if necessary), suncream & bugspray! 

We will set off promptly. Please try to arrive 10mins early so you are ready to go.  

Please do not be offended if we do not wait whilst you get yourself sorted. We do a warm up close by so please do catch up.

Contact Jane directly if you are running late/need to cancel. Similarly, if you book onto the walk less than 12hrs before the start, please text so we know to wait for you.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations more than 24hrs before a walk can be made on the Exercise Anywhere booking system. Cancellations made less than 24hrs before a walk will not be refunded and cannot be made on the system - please contact Jane either by text or WhatsApp to cancel.

Location Notes:

On-street parking on South View From Huddersfield Rd (B6175), turn onto Buckton Vale Rd. At the mini-roundabout take the 3rd exit onto South View. Parking just after the chicane bit before the next mini-roundabout.
