Walk Description:

 

Over the coming months our Wednesday Explorer Walks will follow a London North to South route taking us from Cockfosters to Carshalton - a total of 34 miles - largely through parks, green spaces and waterways.

Here we start on the first section, near to home and ideal for December.  We go through a surprising 9 parks on our 6 mile route!

We will be able to stop for coffee/tea at a kiosk in Arnos Park and there is also a good cafe at Alexandra Palace Station.

Toilets at Cockfosters and in parks along the route.

Meet for an 10.30 am start in the entrance hall at Cockfosters Underground Station (Piccadilly Line).

 

Finish at Alexandra Park Station - London Overground and buses to connect to Finsbury Park.
