Walk Description:
Parking at Pamphill Green we will walk over the green past the cricket pitch and down to the river
Stour.
This walk has unspoilt countryside, ancient trees and exquisite cottages.
From Eye bridge we walk beside the river for a while before returning up Sandy lane.
This has deep banks and in the season beautiful flowers.
This walk has 5 stiles and muddy in the autumn/winter season. Several of the stiles are the walk
through variety.
Toilets are outside at Pamphill Dairy which is on the way to the green. There is a lovely cafe there which does great food. There is a farmshop and butchers along with The Nest which has ladies clothing and gifts. Good for Christmas shopping.
(Dec 2nd, please note this walk is very muddy so wear appropriate footwear.)
Location Notes:
Free Parking. No facilities but Pamphill Dairy is a short walk away with a cafe, toilet and a farm shop. Meet near the boards that lead onto the Green. This is the church end and not the School end.
