Walk Description:

Take a Nordic stroll towards the city along the Great Central Way with Val - one of our volunteer Nordic walk leaders. Pointing out places of interest along the route that takes you through parts of Aylestone Meadows and on to the former railway route.

Please note paths can be muddy or wet at this time of year so please wear suitable footwear. The Great Central Way is also a route for cyclists so please take care when walking.

Location Notes:

Meet in Canal Street car park for a wonderful variety of walks around these medieval water meadows plus the canal and the Great Central Way. Car Park is FREE
