Walk Description:

Over the coming months our Wednesday Explorer Walks are following a London North to South route taking us from Cockfosters to Carshalton - a total of 34 miles - largely through parks, green spaces and by waterways.

This is the fifth and final section of the route going from Colliers Wood to Carshalton along the Wandle Trail. This second section of the Wandle Trail is definitely more rural and more attractive as it passes through parks and waterways.

We will have several choices of places to stop for coffee/tea so we can decide on the day what suits us best.

Toilets along the route.

Meet for an 10.30 am start at  Colliers Wood Underground Station (Northern Line).

Finish at Carshalton Beeches (overground Southern trains)

Points of interest:

Wandle River Merton Abbey Mills Wetland Boardwalk Snuff Mill, Morden Hall Park Caarshalton Park

Location Notes:

Meet at Marylebone Road exit
