Walk Description:
Our Wednesday Explorer WALXs are a chance to join a longer walk. These walks usually take around 3 hours covering 6-8 miles depending on the terrain. They are aimed at walkers who are comfortable with walking at a moderate pace for the time. We will take a few breaks so bring a hot drink and a snack.
Todays walk: Today we are starting at Ramsbury. From village to Hilldrop, Rasmbury Manor, Park Farm and back via Springs Hill.
Route and Gradient:Walk is around 7 miles. and will take around 2.5 hours. We are on rough tracks and grassy paths. Maybe overgrown and/or muddy. Some hills.
Notes: No facilites on this walk so please bring water and snacks but can have a coffee afterwards in the village.
Parking: please use the street parking around the pub.
