Walk Description:

This peaceful walk takes us through the picturesque village of Longstock and leads gently up and over rolling downland.  Returning through Longstock Park and the Leckford Estate, there's an optional stop off at Longstock Park Farm Cafe at the end of the walk.

Longstock is situated on the western bank of the River Test about a mile north of Stockbridge.

Longstock Park is part of the Waitrose Farm Leckford Estate and the produce grown on the 4,000 acre estate is supplied to Waitrose stores accross the country.

The Longstock Park Farm cafe is tucked away in a quiet rural location providing the perfect place for refreshments before and/or after the walk.  The cafe overlooks the plant nursery and provides stunning views with indoor and outdoor seating available.    https://leckfordestate.co.uk/farm-shop-and-cafe

The route follows mainly wide paths and ancient by ways.  It can be muddy in places after heavy rain.

Location Notes:

Park away from cafe entrance and meet in car park by exit on the grass verge. There are toilets in the cafe if you need to use them before the walk.
