Walk Description:

A gentle 4 mile walk taking in some of Ferndown Common, nearby woodland and Longham Lakes.

The walk can be shortened by cutting out the Lake part.

There are some small hills and one stile. Depending on the weather it can be wet underfoot and there may be midges near the lake.

Meeting at The Angel pub with the option for refreshments afterwards. They do say the parking at the pub is for patrons only; there is parking on the nearby housing estate and in a layby on the main road.

Location Notes:

Please park in the pub carpark if going in for coffee at the end of the walk . Otherwise plenty of on road parking by the railings outside pub. Paws on poles needed for road section.
