Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
Todays walk: Hungerford Common to Kintbury Circular.
Description: A route in the heart of the North Wessex Downs - we start on Hungerford Common (middle parking) and head down towards Inglewood and then into Kintbury. Return via the canal.
Leader: This walk is run by Ashley Sandy
Length and Grade: 7.5 miles but mostly flat walking. The walk is fairly shady but there is a possiblity to reduce the length if the weather is too hot. We are starting at the earlier time of 9am.
Notes: Possible toilet stops and shop in Kintbury. Bring plenty of water and a snack as this is a moperate walk with a hot weather forecast. Sunscreen and hats and plenty of water. We may reduce mileage further if too hot.
