Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
Circular Walk from Great Bedwyn towards Wilton on the canal and brails and then back via roman road and Crofton Beam Engines.
This is a second part walk to train for the Via Francigena but all welcome to join us.
Today`s Walk: We start at Great Bedwyn village hall and walk towards Witlon on the canal & brails before walking towards Wolf Hall and then back via Crofton and leafy lanes.
Length and Grade: A 7 mile walk with some ascents and descents.
Location: We will start at Great Bedwyn village hall car park.
Notes: May be hot so bring lots of water and snack for a mid walk break.
This is the second walk today you can also join us at 9:30am for the first 7 miles and then you can stay for this walk or just do this one. The total miles today for both walks is 14 miles.
