Walk Description:
Our Wednesday Explorer WALX this week takes a look at the village of Brigstock, which during the Midle Ages was the administrative hub of Rockingham Forest.
We head out of the village along quiet , tree lined lanes and past the Bocase Stone! More about that on the day.
We then spend time walking along the tracks through part of Rockingham Forest before heading back to Brigstock.
We will finish with coffee / lunch at OrsinoBistro which is a new cafe for us at WALX.
Please park respectfully on the street near to the village hall.
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
Location Notes:
Parking either in Village Hall car park or along the roadside in Bridge Street. Toilet facility at Bake and Brew , a short walk up the Lane to High Street.
