Walk Description:
We head out of Hebden Bridge to cross Foster Bridge and link with the path that runs alongside Hebden Water (the stream flowing down from Hardcastle Crags). The scenic and tranquil riverside woodland trail meanders through the steep wooded valley until we reach a large weir bringing us out onto Midgehole Road next to a stone bridge facing the Blue Pig Working Men’s Club. The return journey follows the riverside trail and woodland route past the Industrial ruins of the Crimsworth Dye Works, back into Hebden Bridge.
