Walk Description:

For this month's midweek walk we are starting in the village of Wetton. We will be walking through the village, down past Wetton Hill into the Manifold Valley, following the Manifold Trail until we reach a footbridge. From there it's a steep climb uphill, mostly on steps through woodland, to the mouth of Thors Cave, before returning to Wetton. Expect fabulous views, squeeze stiles, grassy fields, footpaths, lots of steps up, and possibly muddy fields to finish. 4 miles, 2-2.5 hours. 775 feet./ 235 metres of elevation.

Location Notes:

small cap park with public toilets. Overflow parking in filed.
