Walk Description:

Shottlegate n Two-Hour Saturday Walk (instead of Bennerly Viaduct walk)  Included in the Direct Debit payment plan

Join us for a refreshing two-hour walk starting from the Hanging Gate pub in Shottlegate. We’ll set off along quiet lanes and field paths before making our way into the peaceful surroundings of Handley Woods. This beautiful woodland offers a mix of gentle climbs, sheltered trails.

From here, we continue towards Blackbrook, following undulating paths that offer variety underfoot and glimpses of the surrounding countryside. The route combines woodland, open fields and rural tracks (mud!), giving a lovely balance of scenery and movement.

We return to the Hanging Gate with the option to stay for a drink or a bite to eat afterwards, making this a sociable and uplifting way to spend your morning or afternoon.
