October has been full of glorious Autumn days – crunching through leaves on our woodland walks, it kicked off with ouR fabulous CHESS VALLEY CHALLENGE and finished with some spooky goings-on in the East Lane Cemetary
We had a total of 91 of you enjoying walks with us throughout OCTOBER and 6 new walkers signed up for our POWER OF POLES INTRODUCTION courses.
So here are the TOP 9 NORDIC WALKERS this month (in no particular order) but great to see some new names appearing here :
Judy Stansell
Peter Woods
Jackie Holden
Jeanette Reece
Gary Ansell
Alison Ansell
Christalla Garrod
Lesley-Ann Frankish
Angela Churchman
6 NEW NORDIC WALKERS
91 NORDIC WALKS WENT AHEAD
431 WALK SPACES OCCUPIED
99 PEOPLE WALKING
AVERAGE NUMBER ON A WALK = 4.7
AVERAGE OCCUPANCY = 41%
Once again, unfortunately, we aren’t hitting any records at the moment and whilst numbers have improved slightly, we continue to see a downward trend in terms of walk attendance.
So as the evenings draw in why not make the most of the daylight or nighttime with our wonderful walks?
Our Autumn SPECIALS an outing to Hatfield Forest, Christmas at Missenden, our Winter Solstice … and me, dressed as a Christmas pudding!
