This adventure walk is a 90 minute walk in gear 2 (minimum) - a great chance to increase your stamina if you're happy walking for this length of time with only minimal breaks for a quick drink!
This beautiful 4.5 mile route comprises a good variety of terrain, including some gentle but sustained uphill sections and the inevitable downhill too! Group pace dictates return time, most often a 90-minute circular walk.

This Friday's Fresh Air Walx takes us on a slightly different route od approximately 3 miles from Jersey Farm Nature Reserve across open farmland back into Sandridge village where we will be stopping to have a quick breakfast with St Albans Community Pantry at St Brelades Place. This is a great opportinity to support a local charity.
If you feel unwell between the time of booking the walk and attending please err on the side of caution and cancel.

Friday Cafe Nordic Walx - this is up to 2 hours and 5 miles often followed by a coffee at a local cafe or bring your own flask for an after walk coffee and chat.
Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body.
