An Intermediate / Gear 2 walk of approximately 4 miles. The gradient is gentle, no steep hills or ramps, but the aim is to maintain a good pace. There are a couple of alternative routes according to the ground conditions but walkers should be prepared to walk along country roads and farm tracks.
Intermediate - A faster pace than Gear 1 and an established technique is key, but if necessary a little more recovery time for those that need it.
Gear 2 - A faster pace gained through technique. There will be less recovery time.

Join Lucie for a stunning walk from Swanage Downs that was a path once taken by Royalty. Right from the start of the walk you are welcomed with breath-taking sea views. We take the coastal path up the downs and join the woodland route with numerous coastal view points along the way.
Bring your camera as these are views you will want to take home. The walk is up hill most of the way and there are some steps up and down as well as some rooty pathways.
