An evening walk is the perfect way to end a busy working day, as it is an outdoors workout, which provides an opportunity to improve health and fitness.It allows you to work your muscles that you do not use much during the day.
This can help in relieving stiffness and lower back pain and in relaxing your body and mind.

Evening walk after a day at home or in the office. This session is an hours brisk walk to help to switch off at the end of the day. It is a brisk one hour walk, with few stops. It will be at a steady consistent pace so ideal for building your cardio fitness!!
It is a social walk so you will have the distraction of chatting whilst exercising.
During the winter months head torches are essential so YOU can be seen as the route tends to be off the Comyn. During the lighter evenings there is more opportunity to take this session over fields and farmland.

It is a full body intense workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness. Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio. Upton Country Park has over 140 acres of beautiful award-winning gardens, open parkland, woodland and shoreline, with stunning Georgian Grade II* listed Upton House. We will approach the park by a Bridle Way.
The paths are mainly shingle, and we may walk out to Holes Bay.

This is an early morning walk to get you ready for the day. We will visit 4 locations in rotation, Stour Meadows where we will hopefully get to see the Kingfishers and the Otters, Field Grove woods for the birds and possible Deer, The Mildown for birds and whilst it is still fairly dark the possibilty of a Bat or two circling over head and then Stourpaine for the beautful scenery with lots of sheep up on Hod Hill plus Deer when we cross the River Stour.

Each week we focus on specific balance activities to activate the core and improve our equilibrium such as `clock` work, `tight rope`, `flamingo stand` and `superman`.

Duration – 1 ½ hours, walk grade - 3. Not everyone walks at the same pace! The Regular Walk is a social way to get fit and stay fit. It`s aimed at moderate paced walkers and above. After a warm up we will set off together and those that wish to walk fast can go ahead and at certain points we will gather together. This is achieved by those walking ahead will, at certain points or times, double back to the rear of the group or remaining at a pre-determined rendezvous point and practicing drills or other gentle exercises to keep warm and active.

These walks are often lead by qualified walk leaders and can be from an hour to 3 hours long. It is a moderate paced walk with a few stops. An hours social walk naturally tends to be at a quick pace than the 90+ minutes.
