Join me for our monthly Nordic Well-being walk in the amazing Bedgebury Pinetum and Forest.
This will be a gently paced nordic walk ending at the cafe for coffee!
Note that there is a fixed parking fee of £3.80. To get this rate please do not pay at the ticket machines but visit the office (in the visitor centre) where they will take your car registration number. Parking is free for members.
Note that due to the cost to me of running this walk, I need to charge a higher fee than usual and unfortunately am unable to offer the 20% prepaid discount or free DD walk (I will contact DD payers to request payment). If you have any questions about this please let me know.
This walk is open to all and I will lend poles and give you some tips if you are new to Nordic walking. I would then recommend that you do a Nordic walking induction session to learn the full technique and get the most from your walking. We can arrange this at a time to suit you.
I need a minimum of 3 people for a walk. Please cancel by 6pm the day before a walk. If you need to cancel after this time or on the day of the walk, I would ask that you just let me know that you cannot attend and the walk will remain chargeable. If a walk is to be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, I will let you know by 8pm the evening before.

Our Easy Monday morning walks are a great way to practice your technique and take a gentle approach to improving your technique. Great for those new to nordic walking or those looking for an easier walk level.
Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
Note: To participate in regular Nordic WALX, you must have completed our Nordic Freedom Course.
Please note walkers must observe social distancing following government guidelines for COVD-19.
