We love it here! SO MANY CHOICES. SO MANY ROUTES TO EXPLORE.....
This walk truly is a FAB Thursday boost - approx an hour at moderate Gear 2 pace with Gear 3 options. Our walk will take us out FROM Eaton Park West Car Park and across into the UEA with plenty of choices right from the start. These walks differ each week; from saying hello to the donkeys above the Yare Valley Marshes and circumnavigating the Broad to following routes along the Yare and visiting the often-missed Earlham Hall. There’s so much to see on wide grassy paths. No wonder we LOVE it here.
Enjoy the views, fresh air and company of the group while also being active outdoors. These walks alter each week but will be approx 3 miles.
ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH - THIS WALK WILL BE EXTENDED TO APPROX 4.5 MILES FOR THOSE WHO LOVE A LONGER LEG STRETCH!

Walk Description:
Our Easy Thursday morning walks are a great way to practice your technique and take a gentle approach to improving your technique. Great for those new to nordic walking or those looking for an easier walk level.
Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
Note: To participate in regular Nordic WALX, you must have completed our Nordic Freedom Course.
